Once a year, the Nordschleife becomes the biggest stage for GT racing — and Dörr Motorsport arrived in 2026 with a very special car: The McLaren 720S GT3 Evo with start number 69 sported a tribute to the Benetton B195, with which Michael Schumacher became Formula 1 World Champion in 1995, at the 24h Race (May 14–17).
Strong Lineup, Long Night
Ben shared the cockpit with DTM teammate Timo Glock, Marvin Kirchhöfer, and Timo Scheider. Over 24 hours, the crew battled through the Green Hell — navigating traffic, night stints, and all the whims of the Eifel.
After an eventful race with setbacks, the #69 saw the checkered flag in 16th place overall — valuable kilometers and experience on the world’s most demanding race track. The overall victory went to the Mercedes-AMG #80 of Winward Racing.
